UPDATE (04.01.2023 – 14:10)

Thank you all so much for the incredible support. In under a week we reached our original goal and in 4 more days we already hit our second Target as well. I did not expect this crowdfunding to go so well. It is simply amazing

Now that we have reached our two goals and the concept of my plan has spread, we managed to raise the money for the first year of the High-School Golf Academy together. We have succeeded to do so through this crowdfunding and also through the support of family members and friends

I would still like to make as much use of this crowdfunding as possible, as we have more than two months to go still. Therefore we will extend the goal again and the incoming will go towards my second year of the High-School Golf Academy

Dear Supporters

 I‘m Joshua Hess, I’m 15 years old and I‘ve been playing Golf since I was 7 years old. Since then I‘ve been addicted to the game and working to get better at it every day. Now I m playing U16 and U18 Tournaments here in Switzerland, I am also traveling to international Tournaments all across Europe.

This year, In 2022, I won the Swiss national Championship U16 along with two second places on the Swiss Junior Golf Tour. I also managed to win the international RB German Junior U18 Tournament, which got me into the World Amateur Golf Ranking. These are big motivators for me towards reaching my big goal: To one day play golf professionally on the PGA tour. 

To make this happen I will have to go to the USA where I can play golf every day throughout the whole year and also get a top education. My Family, my Coaches and I are planning and organizing for me to go to a High-School with a Golf Academy in the USA for two years starting in August of 2023.

The benefit of doing those two years before college would enable me to train with some of the best coaches in America on a Golf practice facility right next to the school campus. That means I will go to school in the morning and in the afternoon I can go practice my golf with great coaches on a great facility.

I can also play tournaments on the American Junior Golf Tour against some of the best junior golfers in America twice a month. And all of this without a long winter break like we have here in Switzerland.

This will not only prepare me for College it will also make getting a scholarship for College easier. After these two years I will have experience with the American system and I will have played a lot of tournaments in the USA which then gets the attention of the College-Coaches and gives me a better chance to get a good scholarship for College

For me to be able to get the best preparation for college I will need to go to this High-School Golf Academy.

My costs for one year look like this:

• 50’000 USD for the High-School Golf Academy
• 10’000 USD for living expenses in the US

But for that I need your financial support, any donation will be greatly appreciated.

Vielen Dank an alle für die unglaubliche Unterstützung. In weniger als einer Woche haben wir unser ursprüngliches Ziel erreicht und in 4 weiteren Tagen haben wir auch schon unser zweites Ziel erreicht. Ich hatte nicht erwartet, dass dieses Crowdfunding so gut laufen würde. Es ist einfach unglaublich.

Da wir jetzt unsere beiden Ziele erreicht haben und sich das Konzept meines Plans herumgesprochen hat, haben wir es geschafft, gemeinsam das Geld für das erste Jahr der High-School Golf Academy aufzubringen. Das haben wir durch dieses Crowdfunding und auch durch die Unterstützung von Familienmitgliedern und Freunden geschafft.

Ich möchte dieses Crowdfunding noch so gut wie möglich ausnutzen, da die Aktion immer noch zwei Monate läuft. Deshalb werden wir das Ziel nochmals verlängern und der Erlös fließt in mein zweites Jahr der High-School Golf Academy

Ich bin Joshua Hess, ich bin 15 Jahre alt und spiele Golf seit ich 7 Jahre alt bin. Seitdem bin ich süchtig nach diesem Spiel und arbeite jeden Tag daran besser zu werden. Jetzt spiele ich U16- und U18-Turniere hier in der Schweiz und reise auch zu internationalen Turnieren in ganz Europa.

Dieses Jahr, 2022, habe ich die nationale Schweizer Meisterschaft U16 gewonnen sowie zwei zweite Plätze auf der Swiss Junior Golf Tour. Zudem habe ich auch das Internationale RB German Junior Turnier gewonnen, wodurch ich in das World Amateur-Golf-Ranking aufgenommen wurde. Dies sind große Motivatoren für mich mein großes Ziel zu erreichen: Eines Tages professionell auf der PGA Tour Golf zu spielen.

Um dieses Ziel zu erreichen bietet mir Amerika die besten Möglichkeiten. Dort kann ich das ganze Jahr über jeden Tag Golf spielen und zusätzlich eine Top-Ausbildung erhalten. Meine Familie, meine Coaches und ich planen und organisieren für mich den Besuch einer High-School mit Golfakademie in den USA für zwei Jahre ab August 2023.

Es ist ein grosser Vorteil für mich schon zwei Jahre vor dem College in das amerikanische System einzusteigen und dies mir auch ermöglichen würde mit einigen der besten Trainern Amerikas auf einer Golf-Übungsanlage direkt neben dem Schulcampus zu trainieren. Das bedeutet, dass ich morgens zur Schule gehe und nachmittags mit Trainern auf einer großartigen Anlage mein Golfspiel üben kann.

Zu dem kann ich auch zweimal im Monat an Turnieren der American Junior Golf Tour gegen einige der besten Junior-Golfer Amerikas antreten und das alles ohne eine lange Winterpause wie bei uns in der Schweiz.

Das wird mich nicht nur auf das College vorbereiten, sondern es wird das Erhalten eines Stipendiums für ein College einfacher machen. Nach diesen zwei Jahren werde ich Erfahrung mit dem amerikanischen System haben und viele Turniere in den USA gespielt haben, was dann die Aufmerksamkeit der College-Coaches auf mich zieht und mir eine bessere Chance gibt, ein gutes Stipendium für ein College zu bekommen.

Um mich optimal auf das College vorbereiten zu können, muss ich auf diese High-School Golf Akademie gehen.

Meine Kosten für ein Jahr sehen wie folgt aus:

• 50’000 USD für die High-School Golf Akademie
• 10’000 USD für den Lebensunterhalt
